About

unnamed-8-2“You’ve Got Cancer,” are chilling words that no one wants to hear, but new patients are diagnosed every day, and when you are one of those patients, life changes.

As a physician, and two time breast cancer survivor, I have in depth understanding of the disease, but that didn’t make embarking on this journey any easier. No amount of medical knowledge can erase the fear of this looming enemy, but I decided to fight back, and live as well as I could.

In sharing my story on this blog, I hope to inspire you to stay strong and fight this disease, understanding that although you will encounter difficulties, how you deal with them, can make a difference in your day to day life, and maybe even in your survival.

This blog is not meant to provide medical advice, recommend treatment, or promote my strategy, in any way.

With that said, I dedicate this blog to my cousin Anita, who courageously fought this disease long and hard, with astounding grace that will never be forgotten.
